Summer Tipi Wedding at The Den at Four Acre


Lucas and Ellie celebrated their wedding at The Den at Four Acre on 6 June 2026, with perfect weather for their summer tipi wedding in Cumbria.

For me, this was a wedding particularly close to home. I live across the road from The Den, and I’m one of the venue’s recommended photography suppliers. Photographing Lucas and Ellie’s day brought my work to a place that’s part of my own neighbourhood.


A June Wedding at The Den


The Den at Four Acre sits just outside Kirkbride, near Wigton, surrounded by the Cumbrian countryside. Its giant tipis give the venue a distinctive character, with space around them that makes the outdoor setting part of the celebration.

For Lucas and Ellie, the weather was everything you could hope for on a June wedding day. Their tipi wedding is a lovely example to explore if you’re considering a summer celebration here: a real wedding, at the venue you’re looking at, through the photographs of the day.

Inside Lucas & Ellie’s Wedding Tipis


Inside the tipis, long wooden tables and benches were laid with green napkins, glassware and candles. The warm canvas and timber poles framed the reception space, while the rustic cocktail bar added another detail worth photographing. These wider views capture how the setting looked, alongside the smaller details Lucas and Ellie will remember from their day.
