This intimate spring wedding at Dalston Hall was a wonderfully relaxed way to begin my 2023 wedding season. The couple chose a celebration centred on the people closest to them, allowing the day to feel personal, unhurried and full of genuine moments. I photographed the ceremony quietly and naturally, concentrating on the couple’s connection and the reactions of those sharing the occasion with them. The gardens and stone steps surrounding Dalston Hall were perfect for understated couple portraits. Rather than forcing elaborate poses, I gave the couple simple direction and allowed them to settle naturally together.
